Arrow Training pets to Hearty & Dire

When I get my own GW copy, I plan on getting a Polar Bear and make it hearty. I'll also get a white tiger and make it dire. Any notes, tips, or comments for this? please explain. Also, do I have to keep "charm Animal" with me at all times & do I have to feed my pet?

To bring the pet into an area with you, you have to have charm pet on your bar. You can take it off your bar any time, the pet just won't come out with you. When you put it on your bar again, the pet will return. Note that each character can only have one pet at a time. There is no stable or feeding or maintaining to worry about. If you get tired of one pet, sell it to a tamer and get another.
